The all-vocal country group Home Free is coming to the Alaska State Fair on the opening day, Thursday, Aug. 22.

Band members include: Austin Brown (high tenor), Adam Chance (baritone), Tim Foust (bass), Rob Lundquist (tenor) and Adam Rupp (vocal percussion/beatboxer).

The unique a cappella band are ready to bring their five harmonious voices to the Borealis Theatre and they’re ready to unveil their newest album “Dive Bar Saints” to Alaska, as one of their earliest live performances, according to a recent press release.

The album is set to release Sept. 6. This will be a milestone for the band because it will feature nearly all original songs. 10 out of 12 songs are original compositions, with band members Brown and Foust among the writing credits.

The up and coming band has plenty to keep them busy. After performing at the Alaska State Fair, they’ll take off on their international Dive Bar Saints World Tour, starting Sept. 18. The tour will take the groups across the U.S. and through 14 different countries, including Canada and Australia.

The band recently returned from their huge Timeless World Tour, which spanned over 14 countries.

Home Free’s lengthy catalogue includes four Top 10 albums, including “Full Of (Even More) Cheer,” “Full Of Cheer,” “Country Evolution,” and their breakout debut “Crazy Life “(2014), which reached number one on iTunes Country chart and number four overall, following their season 4 victory on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” (2013).

Home Free also guest-starred on Kenny Rogers’ 2015 Christmas album, “Once Again It’s Christmas,” performing on the song “Children, Go Where I Send Thee.”

Home Free dropped several music videos recently, including “Remember This” with Foust as a co-writer. The video features fan-submitted photos of special moments from their lives.

The band’s prized cover “Take Me Home, Country Roads” took several years to finally produce and they’re proud of the final product. That video and others can be seen on YouTube.
