The adult male suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Dallas Hanna. After being questioned by detectives, Hanna was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charges of Assault I, Assault IV, and Resisting.
Detectives have determined that alcohol was a factor in this incident. The adult male victim is being treated for serious injuries.

On 2/23/19 at 6:03 a.m., Officers with the Patrol Division responded to a residence on the 500 block of W 90th Avenue in reference to a stabbing.
The preliminary investigation found that the incident started as a domestic disturbance where an adult male was inside a residence making suicidal threats with a knife when another adult male tried to intervene. The intervening male was stabbed by the suicidal male when he tried to make contact. The victim walked to a neighbor's house to get help. The two males are related to each other. This is an isolated incident with no outstanding suspects.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The adult male suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Officers have taken the adult male suspect into custody and he is being questioned by detectives. The investigation is ongoing.
