At 6:05 PM on June 18, 2019, Officers were dispatched to a parking lot on the 5400-block of E Northern Lights Boulevard in reference to a male slumped over the wheel of a 2006 silver Honda CRV. It was reported that a female was passed out in the back seat. While the officers were in route Dispatch notified them the vehicle had been reported as stolen in another jurisdiction.
When officers arrived they were able to reach in the vehicle through the open driver’s side window and remove the keys from the ignition. Afterwards they woke up the driver, later identified as 27-year-old Patrick J. Lambert, who stepped out of the Honda and was taken into custody. The officers then woke up 26-year-old Glenda E. Peterson who got out of the back seat and was handcuffed. Both were transported to the Anchorage Police Department for questioning by detectives.
Afterwards Glenda was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on her four outstanding warrants. She was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief V – Riding in a Stolen Vehicle and Violate Conditions of Release for a Felony. Patrick was remanded on his outstanding warrant and was further charged with Vehicle Theft I and Theft II.
