On Tuesday (8/13/19) night at 7:20 PM and Wednesday (8/14/19) night at around 8:20 PM, Officers with the Patrol Division responded to the Chester Creek Trail system near Valley of the Moon Park in reference to 2 separate reports of attempted sexual assault. Detectives have cause to believe the two incidents were committed by the same suspect.

The preliminary investigation found that on both occasions, the adult male suspect was on the Chester Creek trail system near Valley of the Moon Park, spotted a female target, turned around and ran up behind her. On both occasions, the suspect grabbed the women and tried pulling their clothes off. Both times he fled on foot.

Detectives have developed a suspect description and need the public’s help identifying and locating him.

The suspect has been described as a white adult male, 20-30 years old, brown hair, possible facial hair, and possible glasses. On Tuesday night, the suspect was seen wearing a black graphic t-shirt, a hat, and glasses. He was seen walking with a pug-like dog. On Wednesday night, he was wearing a blue t-shirt, possible blue shorts and running shoes. The dog was not with him.
