Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. Executive Director Amanda Moser announces the detailed schedule of events for the annual New Year’s Eve Celebration.
The celebration is fun, family-friendly, and free to attend, with live performances, food vendors, carnival games, and a beer garden. The biggest fireworks display in Anchorage begins at 8:00 p.m. and can be seen from the event’s new location at the Easy Park Chinook Lot, donated by Easy Park, at the corner of 3rd Ave & E St.
The schedule of events is as follows:
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. – DJ Spencer Lee
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. – THOSE GUYS AK
5:00 – 5:30 p.m. – Alaskanette Baton Corps
5:30 – 6:00 p.m. – Sankofa
6:00 – 6:30 p.m. – Alaskanette Baton Corps
6:30 – 7:00 p.m. – Underground Dance Company
7:00 – 7:45 p.m. – Alaskanette Baton Corps
8:00 p.m. - largest and best fireworks show in Anchorage! Everyone enjoying the Celebration at the new location will have a direct line of sight of the display.

Special Event Parking Information
Public parking will be available for $5 at the Easy Park 5th Avenue garage starting at 4:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Cars may be left in the garage until 6:00 a.m. on January 2, 2020.
Event parking is also available for $5 at the Diamond Parking lot on 3rd Ave, between A St. and C St., and at the Railroad Depot Lot, at 320 W 1st Ave. Cars can remain at those locations until 4:00 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
