On Tuesday, May 21 Anchorage residents and climate advocates will gather at the Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library to support the passage of the Municipalities new Climate Action Plan. Cities and municipalities across the country have been taking bold steps to mitigate the effects of Climate Change in their communities. Community partners are throwing a pizza party to encourage our Anchorage Assembly Members to adopt and implement a Climate Action Plan to help sustain and grow the Anchorage economy in the face of climate change effects. The Alaska Center will be giving out free t-shirts, providing a great photo opportunity to show the broad support for the Climate Action Plan.
