LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ARTISTIC?

When Harry Met Sally (1989) ~ 30th Anniversary: In 1977, college graduates Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) share a contentious car ride from Chicago to New York, during which they argue about whether men and women can ever truly be strictly platonic friends. Ten years later, Harry and Sally meet again at a bookstore and--in the company of their respective best friends, Jess (Bruno Kirby) and Marie (Carrie Fisher) --attempt to stay friends without sex becoming an issue between them. The show is at 5:30pm and tickets are available at BearToothTheatre.net. (Bear Tooth Theatrepub, 1230 W 27th Avenue)

Newly discovered writings from Anne's diary, as well as survivor accounts, are interwoven in this new adaptation for a new generation. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change: The longest running off-Broadway revue in history has been revised for the 21st century! This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship." Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?" The 2018 version features two new songs, revised lyrics and dialogue throughout the show to reflect dating in modern times. The performance starts at 7pm and tickets are available at CenterTix.com.
